The Afro-Deutscher Excellence Awards is an award scheme set up to recognize, empower, and amplify individuals and entities of African descent living in Germany. Founded in 2020 right in the city of Hamburg-Germany, the award consists of a carefully selected jury set up to scrutinize nominees in different categories to determine in conjunction with a percentage of public votes, which nominee wins a particular category. Nominees are awarded at an event which features great entertaining performances, and a networking session. 

The goal of the Afro-Deutscher Awards is to set a standard that challenges African businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals in the diaspora (especially those living in Germany) to work and create with excellence, diligence, and pride, no matter where they find themselves.
